The facility is very nice. Been here before. Was treated very nicely by all staff in the past. Here today with my husband for his surgery. When we came into the facility we had both forgotten to bring masks. I asked for a mask and the response was “they are only for patients”. Are masks too expensive now? I was told I had to wait in the car because I didn’t have a mask. Reception ladies were totally uninterested in being nice. Zero empathy. What a nice way to treat your patients family members.

My experience with the Monterey Surgery Center was great. Everyone was really exceptional. From reception, the nurses, the follow up call and, most importantly, Bianca in billing were fantastic. It is refreshing

Despite what it says on their website, they do not require Covid testing prior to surgery. Their website is extremely misleading, incorrect and will put you into an unsafe environment. Canceled my surgery at this facility. Chomp, as well as most other surgery centers in our highly traveled Monterey area, do protect their patients during the highest Covid risk time of year - they care enough to keep you safe. Testing is still in place at these respectable locations. Stay safe and Happy Holidays. Update ....got into several wait list doctors this week due to Covid cases canceling after Thanksgiving and these people are cutting costs in lieu of patients lives??? How much is a life worth to you? More than a $10 Covid test??? Apparently not much to these people. Get a clue....why do all reputable medical professions require masks. Unbelievable.

Excellent care, from the nursing staff to Dr. Farac everyone was very caring and professional. Dr. Farac explained clearly the procedure as well as the anesthesiologists. All in all, a great experience giving the circumstances of my injury. Thanks to all staff at Monterey Peninsul Surgery Center!
