Don't waste your time. If you're looking for a gastric bypass, there aren't currently any doctors who proform that surgery. Per my insurance, I had to complete 6 months of appointments before I could get approved, I had to restart the program a few months in because I got a knee replacement, and missed an appointment. So, I was in the program for 11 months, I had one procedure scheduled before I could get scheduled. No one called me to tell me I had to stop taking some of my meds, so I had to reschedule for a month away. I should have known something was up when that happened. The day before my procedure, I receive a phone call that the doctor is no longer with the practice and I'm just screwed. 11 months down the drain for nothing. I can get referred to another hospital, 4 hours away, where I have to start the entire process over. I was told that Dr. Lafontaine doesn't do gastric bypass', and that's why I'm being referred out. So 11 months down the drain. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, but what use is a great staff if there's no doctor to proform the surgery?
Had knee surgery on Nov 15 2022 and the whole staff was great. They never made me feel like a burden. Explained everything they were doing always asked if I had any questions, very friendly also. Made my family feel comfortable and made sure they didn't have any questions.
Had an excellent experience at this facility today. Everyone from the ladies at the feont desk to the clinicians in the prep area and OR were fantastic! Friendly, professional, compassionate and patient-focused. I would highly recommend this facility!
