🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 stars! During my second pain management appointment I experienced some initial miss communication and misunderstanding regarding scheduling. I was told I would receive a call from a nurse one week prior to my scheduled appointment to discuss any concerns, but the paper work given... stated they would call a day before my appointment, and later I was told the appointment had not yet been scheduled and they would contact me a week before the date is set 🤔This confusion almost led me to cancel, but I am truly greatly that I did not. I checked in at 12:30 PM and was seen at 3:00 PM Despite the wait.. My experience was quite amazing and absolutely worth it. Vanessa at the front desk was an amazing girl, understanding, and incredibly kind. Once I was in.. Jackie made me feel completely at ease, she is so sweet, compassionate, and very understanding! Truly an amazing young woman. Ronie the nurse was also incredible. He made me feel very comfortable during my procedure and even allowed me to squeeze his hands... (Poor Ronie lol) Which helped ease my anxiety significantly, especially after one of the other male nurses surprised shocked me very unexpectedly (pulling my briefs more than half way down exposing my buttocks the entire time) which was extremely humiliating! Aside from that and the initial appointment confusion my overall experience was great. A special thank you as well to Dr Sarwiris for the excellent care. The professionalism and compassion of this team made a lasting positive impression.
My 85-year-old father has had several back procedures at Mid Valley Surgery Center, and our experiences have been consistently positive. While there is some waiting, this center runs closer to on time than most we’ve visited. The staff is attentive and helpful, especially the nurses and front desk team. Chanel stands out for her patience and willingness to clearly answer all questions. My father sees Dr. Lynch, who is always cordial, attentive, and respectful. Overall, this facility provides professional, compassionate care, which is especially reassuring when caring for an elderly parent. Highly recommended
I showed up at 15 minutes prior to my procedure appointment (1pm) after fasting since last night to be told that I have at least a 1 1/2 hour to get a bed for the procedure. I did not wait. I was taking my paperwork with me and the office staff said that she needed to make a copy and lied to me because they said I couldn’t have it. What kind of surgery center has you fast and then makes you wait that long. I have had many procedures and have never been treated this way. I I don’t recommend the surgery center at all if I could give a negative star I would. Pay attention to the reviews before you schedule your appointment.
I had surgery here this morning. I was so apprehensive walking in, but I was greeted warmly and promptly taken back. I expressed my anxiety and nervousness and my nurse, Gina, gave me a real bear hug and told me everything is going to be ok! Spoiler alert: it was! Gina calmed me enough to be able to continue, she even braided my hair back for me. I found this to be incredibly kind. And when the nerves creeped in again and I was crying, Nancy stepped in too and talked to me about my children and life to get my mind off my upcoming procedure. Both Gina and Nancy were wonderful and had I not had them, I might’ve just walked out! My anesthesiologist, Dr. Hunter was great as well. She put me at ease and seemed very knowledgeable and professional while still remaining warm and kind. I had a male nurse in recovery and he was also a gem, I wish I had caught his name! This place was remarkable.
No stars absolutely ridiculous to schedule a patient appointment at a certain time only to leave that patient sitting in lobby for hours in chronic pain. Unacceptable at least
