I had a great experience at Metropolitan surgical institute. From front desk staff to the post op nurse everyone was great. I first saw the nurse(didn’t get her name)that put my IV in she did an amazing job despite me being dehydrated from a stomach bug I had the week prior to my procedure😩. She even took me back to the waiting area to say goodbye to my husband since nobody is allowed back. Then I was greeted by my preop nurses Dina and Marianne they both were great and made me feel comfortable. Once I was ready for surgery I met with the anesthesia team Kristin and Dr. Daniel. Both were amazing and very informative with what to expect. Dr. Daniel gave the best cocktail I’ve ever had😉😅. Then my doctor Dr. Greenberg came to give me the run down, he made me feel more comfortable with everything that was going to be done. Then my OR nurse Mario came to get me and showed me how to set myself up on the procedure bed. Which was in a sitting position, first time for me. Then Dr. Daniel gave me the good stuff and sent me for a nice nap😴. Then I woke up in the post op area and was greeted by my post op nurse Marisa, who was also very friendly and gentle helping me get dressed. I’ve had a few procedures and by far this was the nicest experience I’ve had. Thank you to everyone that took great care of me.
Everyone was extremely welcoming and kind. Forgive me if I do not remember names. The nurse who began my IV was flawless! I’ve never had one inserted so painlessly. To Debra, my OR nurse, thank you for my warm blankets, especially the one in the OR. I appreciated all the professionalism and care I received while I was there. Thank you!!!
For everyone with anxiety....Don't worry. I was extremely nervous about my arthroscopic knee surgery. The surgical center is immaculate. Everyone there was so calming and reassuring. They listened to all your questions. The anesthesiologist, Dr. Miller, was so informative and patient with my questions and apprehension. My surgeon, Dr. Tejani, was very clear and very positive. The nurses in pre-op and post-op took such good care of me. Even the front desk staff were so sweet and put you at ease. Thank you all so,so much...
This was my first ever major-minor surgery. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were so kind and supportive- all while knowing my anxiety was through the roof. The doctors were excellent. If I could rate them higher- I would. Thank you to all the nurses who really took the best care of me.
I had my knee surgery there yesterday. From the moment I drove into parking lot I liked this place. Actually wife drove in. There was plenty of parking and very accessible off the highway. The receptionist was so pleasant. The waiting room was very nice and comfortable. When I was called to get prepped I was greeted by some really nice staff members. They did what they had to do to prep me, they all introduced themselves to me and told me what their role would be in the surgery. When I went into operating room they were so gentle and explained everything to me to make me feel comfortable. The anesthesiologist gave me the anesthesia and next thing I was in recovery. Wow!! Once in recovery the nurses were awesome and very attentive to my needs, which wasn’t much. I don’t like to be a burden. Michelle gave me water and cookies and was so kind and professional. She wheeled me outside when I was ready to go and I left. I would highly recommend this hospital in a heart beat. The staff and facilities were awesome.
