Lots of these comments are regarding Memorial Hermann Hospital and this facility is not associated with them! This a GREAT facility with a great team. You will be treated with great care and respect. 10/10
Watch out! They will take your insurance deductible money and then delay, delay, delay submitting their claim until you have paid and met your deductible through other bills…when they finally do submit it, they do it wrong so they have to appeal it, meanwhile sitting on your money for months and months. They owe us $4000. Not to mention, they lie to us every time we call to inquire on the process. Crooks! I will never agree to another surgery at this organization. Watch your wallet with these criminals. Better yet, avoid them altogether. Second surgery this year occurred at Memorial HERMANN in The Woodlands. No problems there!! I’d choose them over Memorial HOUSTON. Hermann submitted our claim within days and we had our refund check within weeks. UPDATE - If I could change this to zero star I would. Funny, the day I posted this review they left a voicemail saying they were “escalating our claim” and that our refund was being “processed” and that we should have it in 30 days. Well, 40 days later and we still haven’t received.
Worst hospital I've been to. Food is bad even for a hospital. First meal was some kind of beef that had a a big, inneedible spongiform section that looked likely an oldworn out kitchen sink ssponge nothing unhealthy, im sure but very unpleasant. And it looked like crisco was packed into the holesi.e. naturallfat deposits. I don't know how a self respecting chef could have accepted such a poor ingredient. I dislike the constant reflexive mememes about the fat cats cutting quality to better line their pockets. Bu this experience is getting me to feel thatbadingredients. ingredients into the kitchen but t to his defense,, the non-offensiveParts of the meat wasnicely preepaaaared gain! I think there were some distinct challenges i.e. consider someone coming in out of the blue in great pain an dof the many possibilities, the doctor has to identify an appropriate approach. That left me in 7+ pain on the wrong bakerscle for a long week i troubleshoot complex control systems for a living and feel aaccutely how hard it is to get arms round a new situation.it was a week of severe pain before thigs were brought under control one very bright spot is the nursing staff; they have been uniformly pleasant and helpful while being pressed between being short ssstaffeed and dealing with growing resentments of patients createby thebove mentioned problems.. i will not willingly return here. I feel. When so many. bad things are happening in one area, im concerned roblems will ultimately leak into quality of care and safetyit as an example of hthe mgmts attitudand other e of mgmt. The management staff should be run off nOrdering meals WAS VERY SLOW AAND DIFFICULT OFTEN TAKING IN EXCESS OF AN HOUR OF CONSTANT DIAALING. THE ONLINE SYSTEMnNeVER worked; always saying some bit of cryptic info was entered incorrectly. I Ieep an emergency card with my meds written on it. I've added a note saying "don't take me to MH NO MATTER WHAT.w. I'M trying very hard to livi up to the instructions of Roman's 10-17;& probably my favorite versein Roman' aand oft sited by MLK. s long these n hold up their end AT Mh under these conditions is an interesting question. That they've already lasted this long is a great testament to their strong, wonderful character. my agaain!NEVER WORKED. ITS NOT LIKE I HAD ANYTHING BETTWER TO DO WHILE BED RIDDEN. THE REPITITIOUS DIALING OF CAALLS THAT WOULD NEVER COMPLETE IS STILL A DISTICntly unpleasant experience. I'll especially mention Will and Craig who caught some of my worst attitude but never showed any impatience or frustration beyond being stretched too thin i.e. too many patients to get around to in the time availbe e.g.only 24 hrs or several hours first thing in the morning per day. UNPLEASANT WAY TO SPEND A MORNING WITH A GROWING CAFFIENE HEAFACHE.🤔🤔🤔the most expressed frustration revolved tound having to cut conversations short an wrap up activities more quickly than desirable.they really seemed to float on trouble. I'm sincerely jealous of that ability. One nurse was especially amazing in how trouble and frustration.Seemed to roll off her back likewater from a duckp.i wish I had some of that.
I couldn't ask for a better team. Maddy did my prep work and iv. She did a fantastic job making sure I was comfortable. My doctor was running a bit late, and they kept me informed ever few minutes.During postop, Vania again made sure I was completely comfortable and was attentive to my needs. I consider myself lucky to have this level of care in a stressful situation. Thank you very much.
Today, I called to conduct a survey regarding the Medical Staff's assistance with launching a new program at our facility. Unfortunately, I encountered a very rude man on the line. He barely allowed me to express my concerns and abruptly interrupted me, saying, "No, maybe you need to talk to the front desk." When I tried to explain that I needed to speak with a clinician, he responded, "No, bye," and hung up on me. As a medical institution, I am concerned about the level of professionalism among staff who interact with patients. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I urge you to consider the implications of such rudeness.
