It was a good experience, the staff is very nice and welcoming. I was nervous and they made my colonoscopy go smooth. Dr. Khurshid is very informative and knowledgeable. Thank you all that helped out with the process. Madera and Fresno staff.

This doctor’s office is extremely unprofessional. Not only have they wasted our time by procrastinating in getting insurance approval, They have also provided other patient information with our documentation completely violating HIPAA. Along with the procedure agreement, they were supposed to extract a sample and test it and they just said it “looks benign“ without even sampling it. I would never recommend this location to anyone.

Absolutely Horrendous Experience – Stay Away! If I could give zero stars, I would! California Gastroenterology Associates in Madera, CA is hands down the worst medical experience I've ever had. From the moment I contacted the office, it was clear that they couldn't care less about their patients. The staff is incredibly rude and dismissive, acting as though you're inconveniencing them by simply existing. I tried numerous times to get in touch, only to be completely ignored—no call-backs, no follow-ups. Apparently, they don't believe in contacting their patients, which is ironic for a medical office. On top of that, they offer no solutions for patients who don’t have access to transportation. They flat-out refused to offer any kind of telephone consultation, forcing you to physically come in, regardless of your circumstances. In 2024, how is this even acceptable? And if that wasn't bad enough, the staff barely speaks coherent English, making communication near impossible. As for the doctors? Their bedside manner is atrocious. Cold, uncaring, and dismissive—exactly what you DON’T want when dealing with medical issues. They treated me like just another number, not a person. The entire experience left me feeling worse than before I even sought their help. To make matters worse, after the endless frustration and lack of communication with the staff and office management, they had the nerve to threaten to discharge my daughter from care, leaving her with zero support! This is completely unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. We’re already dealing with enough, and instead of helping, they’ve decided to abandon their patient due to their own incompetence. Please, save yourself the time and agony. Do NOT go to California Gastroenterology Associates unless you want to be disrespected, ignored, and mistreated. This place is a joke.

My first colonoscopy included the consultation, procedure, and follow up appointments. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable on each date. From receptionists to nurses to doctor…all were very professional but personal too!
