A big shout out to everyone at Lone Tree! From the front desk, Elizabeth, all of the nurses Dr. Bainbridge and his surgical staff. I have had numerous injections and have been treated all the times with respect, empathy and decency. They even have gluten free snacks as I am Celiac. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Yesterday I had a procedure done at Lone Tree Surgery Center, and I truly have never had a more delightful healthcare experience! They were kind, and attentive, and answered all my questions. Brenda and Donna were the absolute sweetest, they were fun and made me laugh and very reassuring which really helped with the nerves as this was my first time having a procedure like this. They were also very fast, efficient, and professional. Thank you so much for such a great experience
I’ve had the best experience here! The front desk staff is always kind and prompt, and the nurses are wonderful, they truly seem to enjoy their jobs. Everyone I’ve interacted with has had a great sense of humor and a smile, which makes such a difference. I’ve never had any issues with anesthesia, and I’m so happy with the multiple good experiences I’ve had at this surgery center. I haven’t even gotten around to leaving my doctor a review yet that’s how much I appreciate this place!
Dr Christopher Huser has done various neck injections and ablations for me before to try and help get rid of my chronic migraines. In the past I have seen him at SkyRidge Hospital for the out patient procedures. My mom has used Lonetree Surgery Center before (and had good things to say about her visits), so I scheduled here from her recommendation. I arrived at 10:40 am for an 11:45 am nerve ablation(s) with Dr. Huser (this was mid-September.) The front desk staff was very nice. The waiting area was pretty crowded, but we found a seat by the windows. My mom was there with me, and she quietly mentioned to the woman behind the front desk that I deal with a great deal of anxiety when getting an IV (I know a lot of people do!) and have ended up in tears a few times because I had to be poked repeatedly. My mom asked if it would be okay if she joined me for support, and I agreed. The woman said it wasn't the sort of thing they usually do, but she understood and would mention my needs to a nurse. I was finally called back at 11:15 by a nurse who was in a real hurry. She started to guide me back and when I mentioned my mom was supposed to be joining me she told us both that would not be possible, the pre-op area was just too crowded. I ended up just sort of being ushered to the curtained-off bed where at least two other nurses started asking me questions and telling me what to do. Everyone was very rushed. The worst of all was Christy (who I later found out was not a nurse, but some sort of assistant?). She was very rude, scary even. After finally getting it straightened out that I had requested my mom to be there to help me feel a little less anxious, Christy's attitude only got worse. She was supposed to be checking my blood pressure, and as she was doing this, another nurse was asking me to locate and rate my pain. A third nurse was busy doing my IV in my right arm, so I used my left to point to various places in my neck and head. Christy grabbed my arm repeatedly and yanked down hard, then said "now I have to redo it, again," twice. I started to feel lightheaded and nauseous, and I felt like I was an annoyance. (My anxiety levels were very high at this point; I was grateful to see my mom's face!) There was a lot going on and it was a busy place and no one seemed happy. No one really seemed like they wanted to be there, especially Christy. She was by far the most unpleasant person I've ever interacted with in the medical field. When I got through all the pre-op stuff and Dr Huser came to say hi, it was finally time to be taken back. Everything was fine from that point on. I was relieved to have the IV worry and the general stress of the procedure behind me. I got an automated email a day or so later asking to review the facility. They didn't allow much room on the online form so I simply said that I would not be coming back to Lonetree Surgery Center, and I specifically named Christy as a reason. I'm not sure if anyone actually read my review, but I haven't had a follow-up email or phone call. (I do wish to note that Dr Huser is always very pleasant and demonstrates that he cares about his patients. I will continue to choose him in the future.) It is my opinion that there are much better options (especially in that area) when choosing a place for out patient surgeries. I would avoid Lonetree Surgery Center.
Dr. Trainor and his team are fantastic! I have had three procedures and all have gone smoothly. My anxiety sometimes gets the best of me, but the team here does a great job keeping me calm and comfortable. The front office staff is also always very friendly and efficient. I never have to wait long and the paperwork is minimal and easy to fill out each time.
