My experience at Kalamazoo Endo Center was perfect. I don’t have a single dissatisfaction. I interacted with eight different individuals: reception, prescreening, surgery prep nurse, surgery nurse, anesthesia tech, gastroenterologist, post-op nurse, and discharge. Each one of them was friendly, prompt, efficient, and communicative. In particular, I spent the most (awake) time with my prep nurse, Brandon. He was excellent.

I was overdosed on anesthesia at this facility. The staff was more concerned about going on their lunch break than the fact that they almost killed me. The EMTS who had to take me from this facility to the hospital noticed what they had done and reported it to the hospital. The hospital documented what this facility did in my paperwork. The facility however documented that there were no complications even tho they had to give me blood pressure meds just to stabilize my blood pressure. My mother was supposed to drive me home that day and they waited for over an hour after the procedure to let her into the room with me. They lied and stated that I had been alert and answering questions even tho I was not conscious. Once my mom was in the room they didn’t have a choice but to call an ambulance. The facility took no accountability and in fact got annoyed when I continued to call asking to speak with someone in charge. They gave me five times the amount of anesthesia they should have. My eyes were rolling back in my head and I had no speech for hours after the fact and all they cared about was their lunch break.

Kalamazoo Endo Center is fantastic. The staff and doctors are next-level. From Check-in to post-op, they were friendly, professional, thorough, and all smiles. Cade was outstanding in pre-op and painlessly got the IV line in and a warm blanket. In minutes I was ready and waiting. Couple minutes later Dr. Dust came in and did his pre-op greet and explanation, followed momentarily by the nurse anesthetist (I'm blanking on her name-began with an "S", but I blame that on her craft--anesthesia has an amnesic effect ;)) who asked her questions and actually wheeled me into OpRm. Within minutes, I was counting backwards from 10...remember getting to 7. Next I know I'm in recovery and clearing for getting dressed. Probably the best colonoscopy experience to date (I'm old enough to have had 4 at this point). I highly recommend this Center.

Everyone was so vet professional, yet so warm and pleasant. There was a little delay, but they kept me informed throughout. Very pleased with having my procedure done here.
