The entire experience has been life changing! Everyone is so attentive and informative. If I ever have a question or need anything at all, I always get an immediate response. I did not have the same experience when I initially looked into bariatric surgery through one of the local hospitals. Also, I know they listen to their patients and really document what they are experiencing because every single milestone I’ve had, they told me well prior, almost down to the week, when I’d go through each new event. It’s actually mind blowing how accurate they are! The support I’ve had through J.L. has been unmatched. I’m six months post surgery and down 80lbs so far. I’ve never felt better!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Curry and his staff are very professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. They stay right there with you every step of the way and continue to help make sure that you are successful in your weight loss journey. They give you all of the tools that you need starting before your pre-diet to be successful and stay successful. I cannot stress enough that this is the BEST place for your weight loss needs. I previously had a lap band from another doctor and it failed. I DID NOT receive the same coaching and tools there as I do with Dr. Curry and his staff at JOURNEYLITE! Dr. Curry removed the band and did the sleeve in one surgery and changed my life forever for the better. I will never be able to express how grateful I am to him and every one of his staff. As of today at 6 months out, I am down 98 pounds! I had to travel about 4 hours to get this surgery and I’d do it a hundred more times and never regret it. I had gastric sleeve surgery on December 1st 2025 with Dr Curry. I cant say enough good things about this place and the staff. Dr Curry literally changed my whole life. When I first met him at my pre op appointment in September of 2025, I weighted 412 pounds. Now I am just a little over 3 months post gastric sleeve and Im down to 317 pounds, thats 95 pounds in about a months. It is a complete lifestyle change, but its the beT decision I have ever made in my life. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to change there life for the better.
