I have read several of the negative reviews on this place. All of them come from their billing dept. Let me tell you they have fired the company, and got a new billing dept and they were great! The called me a few days before surgery and have me the exact amount I would pay, and nothing changed, nothing more. Now let's talk about the medical staff! They were fabulous! My surgery went very well, kind and qualified people. Sam was great! The was very good, post surgery was wonderful. Definitely a good place! Hopefully I don't need them again;), but if I do, I'll go here!

Surgical staff is very nice and friendly and was great the entire time. Billing is an issue - and I wish I read the reviews about it beforehand. I was told of my over $1k balance the day before surgery, so if you don’t have thousands to pull out your behind the next day, good luck. Payment plan was set up and they took a double payment, unauthorized. Still never received the itemized receipt I requested, which I need to submit. Trying to get ahold of someone is also an issue and at this point, to be able to talk to someone, you need to go in to the office itself otherwise you’re SOL. Disappointing experience from front office. Spectacular experience from surgical staff though, thank God.

Front office staff was superb! I'll admit i was extremely anxious walking in the day of my surgery. I had a terrible attitude, and I inadvertently took some of my frustration out on them. They stayed professional, courteous and sympathetic to my situation. After my procedure I made it a point to return to that window and apologize for the way I had acted earlier because I'm sure they deal with that a lot, and they were absolutely not deserving of any of it. All of the other staff was professional and courteous and took great care of me. For a surgery center with a full tight schedule, they handled every aspect of my visit with a professional courtesy I hope everyone can experience.

I have had 2 prior surgeries here, and never had as many billing issues as I've had with my most recent surgery. I went in to change the form of payment for my payment plan and she asked me if I wanted to change it to $162.50 so I could be done and not have to pay it longer than 4 months. The original payment arrangement was for $150.00. She confirmed that she canceled my old payment plan and updated it with the new one. Well, that's not what happened. I got charged 2 times in November one for $150.00, and again 2 days later for $162.50. Fast forward to December. I called beforehand to MAKE SURE that this wouldn't happen again for Dec. She said that she didn't see another payment coming out on the 28th and I told her that that's what happened in Nov and I wanted to prevent the overcharge from happening. She never called me back even after I had called again the same day around 4pm to confirm that she had taken care of it. Well, guess what happened. The charge of $150.00 came out AGAIN and of course it was the holiday weekend so nothing was going to get taken care of til the next week. After sending an email to somebody else, I got a phone call saying that my money would be refunded (no time given, no apology given ever throughout this whole nightmare even though the billing manager was at fault). FINALLY received my money and I thought I was done with this nightmare. It is now Jan 2025 and I'm being charged AGAIN $162.50 for an account that has been paid in full. The online portal where I signed up for payment arrangements even says that I don't have any active accounts. So tell me WHY I'm STILL being charged?! A responsible billing manager should be able to take all the possible steps so this type of thing doesn't happen. And why can't the form of payment or payment amount be changed on the website by the customer?! They have no problem taking my hard-earned money, yet take their time to refund it. Needless to say, if I have to have surgery again, it won't be at this facility. I love Dr. Heinrich, but I will go to another facility going forward.

The Good: When you finally get there for your surgery, the staff are nice & the nurses take care of you. They give you a copy of discharge instructions to take home, along with a get well card signed by the staff which is a nice touch. The Bad: It's extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. It took me 23 times dialing & re-dialing (during business hrs) to get someone to answer the phone so I could make my payment in time (or else they would've canceled my surgery!). Please hire more people to answer the phone or add a call queue. Also, after you sign forms online, you have to sign even more forms when you arrive, one of which tells you to list questions for the nurse. I did, but the nurse was so busy rushing through "procedure," she didn't answer my question & am not even sure she saw my form. They're good people, just in too much of a hurry.
