This is the second time I have had injections done here in. The two women at the front desk are possibly the rudest humans I have ever encountered. Neither of them like to acknowledge you and then act like your pulling their teeth out when they do start the process of checking you in. They make you wear a mask, yet when the lovely professionals come rescue you and take you to the back they tell you to take your mask off and toss it in the trash. Must wear a mask and be six feet from each other and yet the chairs provided are slammed against each other. The next appointment will be at a different location. Hopefully the front desk is better there, otherwise I will find a different business to get injections.

When I first went to pain management, the service was amazing. I can say the doctors are really awesome. On the flip side there are numerous times that I was unable to receive my medications on time. As a result I went into withdrawals. When I first went into withdrawals I really didn't know what was wrong with me. I felt like my legs were drawing up from the inside. Then it felt as though something was crawling inside of my legs and arms. I had a really bad case of diarrhea, and vomiting. I kept feeling like I wanted to run. I washed my windows, mopped all of my floors, did laundry and went on long walks. It was dangerous for me to be out walking at 3 am but I felt better when I was moving around. I told them how to fix the problem and I guess I was ignored. Since the first time I went into active withdrawals, I have done so at least 3 other times. I have a Abbot neurostimulator in my back and it helps but it has not worked well in over a year. They really do need to get a handle on the wait time to see the physician assistant. I had an appointment at 10:00 and I waited almost an hour and 39 minutes to be seen. The doctors are very, very good but you are going to wait to be seen and if you are on opioid pain killers you are subject to go into withdrawals trying to get your pain medication. When you complain it makes it look like you are drug seeking. I am totally dissatisfied with how the drugs are provided. I am disappointed with the way I have problems with pain medication, not once but every time I need a refill on my pain medication. I like the doctors, but the system in which they work with is broken and need to be fixed.

I was put on a medicine duloxitine for nerve pain. I'm out of town and they refused to send a refill even though it is dangerous to stop the medication. I will have severe withdrawal from it. I can't see another dr until the 10 th of February. I am not happy. The medicine has helped. But now I guess I'm about to go through something because of this. I told dr Durussel that I go to Denver a few months out of the year. So they knew this. This medicine is not a controlled substance.

I’m seeing for lower back pain— injections, nerve ablation, & now backing out of scs trial. Been to THREE different facilities. The good & bad recap: — STAY AWAY FROM CENTRAL LOCATION — FAR EAST has GREAT NP (Kelly) but WORST FRONT DEST, low wait time & AMAZING CNA (for Kelly) — NE has BEST FRONT DESK, ok NP, but (traveling) CNA was cool . Low wait time. — VETERANS be cautious. If you’re not getting the best treatment ANYWHERE, leave! You served the country & deserve to be treated with appreciation. Not some extra dollar for them. — ALL be VERY CAUTIOUS of PROCEDURES My experience: — I go for chronic back pain. Have had injections & nerve ablations done. Spent about 6 weeks with a taut painful feeling after ablation— I felt miserable like I made a mistake & it made it worse. Then FINALLY I experienced relief that lasted 2.5 months. Which brings me close to month #6 … the soonest time frame they are medically legal to practice the procedure again. I agreed to try a trial spinal cord stimulator instead before having the nerve ablation done again. — My worry is that I think the nerve ablation might’ve been done half-peaches so that it could grow back & they could earn more money to redo the procedure more frequently. — I’ve been put under their local anesthesia THREE HORRIBLE TIME: — 1 — The first time, the IV was NOT PLACED CORRECTLY . The doctor said: “I’m going to step out & let you fix that. We’ll restart when I come back” — 2 — The second time, I WOKE UP & was CONSCIOUS screaming & crying THROUGHOUT THE PROCEDURE . They added more medicine to my IV. — 3 — The 3rd time I had to let them know to give me more medicine & nausea medicine (because that’s what they use to amp up the sedation)… advice from the front desk & when I called to complain. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES & I can’t believe it’s taken me having to recall my experiences for this review to finally realize I need to transfer to Frontier Neuro to try the ablation again before trusting anyone with permanently implanting a Spinal cord stimulator. :::::::::: Location breakdown :::::::::: — The CALL CENTER WOMEN that handle procedure protocols have been PHENOMENAL! Specifically Jennifer— she’s a total boss about handling things. — Far East: 12200 Paseo Nuevo Dr. : RUDEST FRONT DESK. The experienced one is Competent, but she makes the nastiest faces I’ve ever seen & looks bothered to do her job or if you ask for information she’ll roll her eyes or look at you with disgust if you ask for information. LAB LADY has GREAT ATTITUDE ***** BEST NP experience with Ms. Kelly ***** ***** BEST CNA or whoever does the blood pressure is the BEST one I’ve experienced. — CENTRAL: 3215 GATEWAY W: Is the WORST with WAITING. The FRONT DESK is very NONCHALANT. Not pleasant, but not rude. The CNA’s or whoever takes the notes, blood pressure are always great. The NP’s are ok. I’ve seen 2 different ones there. The pee person is ok, a bit careless nonchalant— they have the same demeanor as front desk The LAB /BLOOD LADY IS THE BEST!!! N/E: 11380 GATEWAY N Has the BEST FRONT DESK out of all of them. The CNA or whoever took my blood pressure was GREAT! He travels though (as most everybody does) The NP wasn’t great. Not horrible. Just zero interaction & I felt HE WAS ANNOYED over my nervousness to get injections.

I would stay away from this place if you are a veteran or anybody that is served in the military or in the private sector in the military, I have confirmed from their lab quest that they will give you a false positive to drop you just to collect money from people and veterans And they will not even look over your medication list or the medication’s that you brought in Send this into quest which they should I had two test done on the same day one from my PCP the other from quest quest came back positive and my PCP negative from the Mayo clinic. How could this be strange and quest answer an El Paso Pain centers answer to this was Mayo Clinic is wrong. They’re not a qualified clinic go figure, so take your chance if you go here, but I would not recommend nobody to go there I feel sorry for the people that are there and has been dropped because of this also
