My son had his first surgery here on July 15, 2025. I was very impressed. Each staff member was kind and understanding especially with having a special needs child. Dr. Carlton is wonderful as well as each staff member including reception. They were beyond on schedule with his surgery. I believe he had his surgery early. I loved the nurses, very professional. I appreciate that they have actual anesthesiologists there versus anesthetists because the training is vastly different and longer. And no offense to anesthetists who do wonderful work. I’ve just have had anesthetists (not done here) make more mistakes including once where I was overdosed and needed emergency interventions done. So I felt better about my child being in the care of actual MDs as the anesthesia was really the only part I was nervous about. The only thing I wish I knew about prior was the possibility of emergence agitation as it was unsettling to see my child thrashing when coming into recovery. At least I know now if he needs another surgery done. Something I also loved was that they had a stuffed toy, fidget spinner and stickers waiting for my son upon going in to prep. That was really kind, but of course my son had nothing of it and threw the stuffed Batman. Sorry Batman!

I got a bisalp today from Dr. Kakar (who did a great job), who was assisted by Jill and Nicole. Everything went super smooth, and Jill and Nicole were both super sweet, professional, and kind. I’d recommend all three of them to anyone. I’m super thankful to be able to be taken care of by such kind, skilled people during a stressful time

Had surgery today for trigger thumb. I want to say everyone there was so nice, supportive and explained everything. They put me at ease. Thank you so much Dr Slater and staff!!!

Insurance Billing and receivables are a mess here. Especially now that it’s outsourced to a company that handles a/r for 100s of surgery centers now. They continue to come after me for payments owed by my insurance company even after I have given documentation to them proving this. Been spending hours to coordinate the various entities to resolve.

Surgeon was to the point and professional. The operation was done very fast. The nurse really messed up the IV which caused major discomfort, far beyond the pain from the area operated on. The same nurse tried to give antibiotics that were not needed, before another nurse corrected them. They also forgot to remove an EKG sticker. On post op check up, they asserted this was the order of events. The pain and swelling is there, the IV had to be switched. You messed up. That was on you. It is up to your clinic to ensure the nurses have the resources, time and training to do their job correctly.
