Florida Medical Clinic

It is damn near impossible to get anyone from the rheumatology department to either answer the phone or return calls. I've been calling and leaving messages to place call back to reschedule an infusion for an autoimmune condition I have for 2 weeks. This isn't even new. I've been a patient for under 2 years and it's always the same. I also sent messages through MyChart and still no response. My wife also has called and was put on hold for almost an hour then hung up on more than once. The people are nice even you're there but that doesn't make for the fact it's a nightmare getting someone on the phone in any reasonable time. I hope someone who matters sees this age does something about it. If they didn't already have my medicine there I would not even be trying to get in contact with them and go else where. This is borderline malpractice.

I see Lauren Moore PA in Dermatology every 6 mos. She is great - very knowledgeable and helpful. She truly cares about her patients and takes her time listening to patients’ concerns. Highly recommend

Rita Morgan, my nurse practioner of six years, completely turned her back on me. Wouldn't return call. She told me she was afraid and didn't know what to prescribe. Instead of referring me to the psychiatrist, she just didn't respond to me at all. I had to find a new psychiatrist and go without medication for 3 weeks until I could get in with the new doctor. I sure didn't expect her to do that after all the years I was with her. I was very hurt. Just BEWARE. You really want someone that has your back through the good times and the bad. She's not the person you want to go to.

Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Whoever answers the phone is utterly rude and hung up on me after the clinic was in the wrong. The environment in this place is very unwelcoming and not warm. There was only one nice lady that ended up helping me out, but this is completely unacceptable. Disgusting behavior and unprofessional.. do not come here. You have better chances in the emergency room.

They give the worst medical care I have ever seen. They have left my mother in excruciating pain for over a month because they refuse to fix a prescription that their extremely unprofessional doctors can’t seem to write correctly and their staff can’t seem to relay messages the way they are paid to do. This is the absolutely worst place I have ever had the experience of dealing with and I will be finding new doctors that will be taking care of my mother properly.
