I have unfortunately had numerous surgeries in the past at a multitude of surgery centers and hospitals. Needless to say I speak from experience. The care I received at Legent in Euless was top notch. From reception to discharge they were awesome. The nurses, Mandy and Connie, who prepared me for surgery and cared for me post op were excellent. They treated me professionally while at the same time providing an atmosphere of relaxation and family. They obviously share a mutual respect and admiration for each other. It’s clear they love their jobs and show a genuine compassion for their patients. I would highly recommend this facility
The facility was EXTREMELT cold!,just like most of the staff. Normally the OR at most facilities is the coldest room and I undersnd that. This place was so cold that the OR was actually the warmest room. They refused to adjust the temperature. After the procedure they said they had some crackers. 30 minutes later nothing. Still freezing so After my procedure and after I recovered while waiting for my ride home, I went outside to stand in the sun. The staff disagreed with that. So I sat in my car waiting for my wife and another driver to come and get me and my car. The staff also refused to even allow me to sit in my own car just to warm up. No engine running nothing. Just the radiant heat in the car of probably 100 degrees felt good as I was almost hypothermic. I dressed for the day. Shorts and short sleeve shirt. All the staff were walking around with pants and insulated coats which I did not have. 2. Next problem. the first nurse blew my vein during the iv stick and she used the best vein I had that everyone uses as the back up vein if they can't find a better one. 3. There was also a disagreement over my Co pay. The staff insisted on collecting money UP FRONT even though my max out of pocket has been met several months ago. Last month I was there and the insurance paid 100%. I had to have the insurance company call 2x so they didn't precharge me. The only positive I can say is the Dr. and the procedure was successful as I have used this Dr for over 20 years but always at Texas Health Southlake. THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I WILL EVER USE THIS FACILITY. I had better and more professional care in a 3rd world country than I experienced here. Most of the staff was rude as hell and disrespectful to the patient with the exception of one nurse by the name of Lisa who was pleasant and professional. I cannot make a judgment call on the nurses that I did not see nor provided care, but the recovery nurse was unacceptable as most of the office staff and administrators were rude, unprofessional and acted inconvenienced I was even there. All of this and they charged my insurance company $25,000 for the 1 hour I was there. What a scam.
The receptionist was very nice and she’s the only reason for anything above a 1 star, but overall not impressed. I’m a nurse at a surgery center and we would NEVER deny a family member coming back with the patient. From a spouse point of view this place is not great and I would not recommend.
This place is a 5 star pain-management-spa! Such wonderful, caring staff who run it very well. (Unlike some places these days) Everyone was beyond sweet! Strongly recommend!!
This outpatient facility was recommended by our pain management surgeon. The facility impressed him -- and he's not easy to impress. What impressed us for my outpatient procedure was the caring nature of the nurses. Kind and compassionate. If you're afraid of needles, they're careful to minimize any discomfort from the catheter Plus they seemed to enjoy caring for patients. Nurse Patty in the recovery room especially. She even sent us home with a tasty slice of home-baked bread. So good it was like a dessert. And you can tell they liked each other -- or came across to us like they did. Minor downsides: Signage isn't easy to see from the street if you're arriving pre-dawn. You can see "Eclipse," the company's new name isn't obvious. And in filling out an online pre-surgery form, options for our surgeon didn't appear. They're working to improve what they said was a computer issue. Overall, the downsides are minor and probably temporary. The great staff more than makes up for them.
