Dr. Doane is simply extraordinary. He performed my cataract surgery 21 years ago, and I had wonderful vision for decades. Recently, one of my lenses became displaced, and I was told elsewhere that I would likely need a full lens replacement. I traveled from out of state to see Dr. Doane, and I'm very glad I did. He fit me in on short notice, and his office coordinated the necessary visits into a single trip, which made the logistics surprisingly easy. Dr. Doane's experience, judgment, and skill were exceptional. He carefully evaluated my situation and recommended a lens repositioning approach rather than a full replacement. The procedure went smoothly, and my vision was restored without needing additional correction. When it comes to eyesight, results matter. Even with the travel, seeing Dr. Doane was absolutely the best decision I could have made. He is knowledgeable, skilled, and genuinely invested in the best outcome for his patients. I recommend him without hesitation. 5 stars is nowhere near enough.

Dr. Hildreth is the most gentle and caring optometrist I've met! He has years of experience and provides a calm and comfort that ensures patients feel at ease. He always answers questions, and does so in a way that is simple to understand. I love that he takes his time with you as an individual. His entire team was a pleasure to work with, and the Leawood location is convenient for me. My only suggestion is to take away the "men" and "women" restroom signs and replace them with neutral toilet signs, since they are single-stall and honestly anyone can use either of them. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I will absolutely be back!

I needed urgent help with something in my eye. Discover was able to get me right in and treated me as if I was a regular patient. Dr. Knobloch was very kind anc informative. Highly recommend!!!

Consultation for Lasik went well. All staff were professional and very nice. Dr. Jackson took the time to explain what procedure would work best for me and my Lasik appointment was done four days after my consult. Would highly recommend Discover Vision Centers for all your eye care needs.
