We recently had a procedure at Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From the moment we walked in, the entire experience was seamless, professional, and—most importantly—deeply compassionate. Facility & Atmosphere The first thing we noticed was the cleanliness of the facility. The waiting area and clinical rooms were immaculate, which immediately put our mind at ease. There is a calm, organized energy to the center that makes a typically stressful day feel much more manageable. The Medical Team The bedside manner here is second to none. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain what was happening at every step. Anesthesiology: I want to give a specific shout-out to the anesthesiologist. They were thorough, patient with our questions, and had a very reassuring presence that helped settle pre-op nerves. The Stars of Recovery: Jenny and Lydia The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the time spent in the recovery room. Our nurses, Jenny and Lydia, were absolutely amazing. Jenny was incredibly attentive, ensuring our daughter was comfortable and managing pain perfectly. Lydia had such a warm, upbeat personality that made the "waking up" process so much easier. Both of these women went above and beyond to provide personalized care. They didn’t just treat us like a patient on a chart; they treated us like family. Overall Experience: If you need surgery, this is the place to go. Between the top-tier hygiene, the skilled medical team, and the phenomenal nursing staff, we felt safe and well-cared for the entire time. Thank you, Desert Ridge!

I just went to the Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center on Friday, January 30, 2025. What an excellent surgery center! Everything from the pre-registration to the recovery room was well organized and went smoothly. The nurses and doctors were friendly and clearly love what they do. The overall experience was great! I would highly recommend the Desert Ridge Outpatient Surgery Center!

**NASTY NURSES** Dr. Kiara is a great ent but Unfortunately, the nursing staff is a typical “nurse” stereotype. They will try to get with your significant other while you’re in for surgery. Unfortunately the girls will be nice to your face but will be nasty when you’re not in the room. THEY ALSO WILL STALK YOUR NAME AND FINE YOUR BOYFRIEND. Definitely hippa violation

Very professional staff! The intake was flawless and I had no wait time. The pre-op nurses were amazing and patient with my humor (it's the way I deal with stress). Lydia is very knowledgeable and Christina is a fast learner. The anesthesiologist, Britney, and OR team were amazing. They were all friendly and introduced themselves and I felt I would be well taken care of. I had my glasses off at this point so it was all a blur from here on out. It was over before I knew it. Good positive experience. Thank you nurses and Doc Blick!

I would give less stars if I could. Please see the attached photo. DO NOT TRUST - DO NOT GO HERE!! After I signed in and my friend who was my ride, got his little temporary ID badge, they took me into the back where they had me get underdressed and told me to get into my surgery gown, which was fine. When the Nurse came in to "prep me" for surgery, I was sitting on the bed and she simply asked " which arm do you want to use ? " for the IV. I held out both my arms and answered " does one look better then the other ", in my experience after giving this response; Nurses, Phlebotomist, Anastiologists, whoever.... will take an extra moment to look at both my arms, feel them, actually look at which arm is going to be better to use. Not the Nurse at this place, she looked at my arms, (and i do have a 2 inch scar from a medical procedure that went wrong at Banner about 5 years ago). This lady looked at me with disgust, followed by this kind of "whatever" look and rudely snapped back at me and blurted out "obviously were not going to use that arm" really loud and right in my face, and its not only what she said, it was morely how she said it, it was rude, and extremely vulger totally uncalled for. It totally caught me off guard. And let me explain.... it took me over 60 days to get this appointment. I had to jump through hoops that you wouldn't believe to get to this point, of actually having a surgery date, but that would be a whole other page of writing if i got into any of that...... So yeah it caught me off guard, i wasn't expecting that kind of attitude. Prior to this point everyone had been pretty cool. However I did notice, while i was in the lobby earlier the work crew conversating about Patients.... Didn't really think anything of it at the time. So I responded to the Nurse, (bc at this point it's apparent that bc if the scars on my left arm she thinks im a junkie), "no theres actually plenty of good veins in this arm too, just bc i have scaring on my arm doesnt mean its unuseable". To which she said back to me with the same demeanor "well is there anything about this arm that I should know?" And just like that the good mood i was in and all of my good spirits (I had been trying to stay in good spirits bc I was so nervous about going in to surgery), completely gone because of how this Nurse treated me. Totally unexceptable. After that it was a horrible experience. Every interaction i had with any employee of this place was horrible. I was given the cold shoulder, had them walk right by me without answering my questions or concerns. There was one who did not even acknowledge what i had said when i asked her a direct question, she didnt even look at me, she just walked by me with this blank look on her face like she worked for the place in Jacob's Ladder. Very strange and I was feeling extremely uncomfortable and I even starting to feel castrophobic at this point bc i was stuck, it took so long to get this appt and at this point i had to get this done or risk further damage to my arm. When i finally met with the Surgen ( Dr. Han ), he walks up to me with his arms crossed and he was just staring at me with this look like he was trying to say "really..... do i have to do this". He tells me, "since you took 60 days to come in here your wrist and arm will never be the same" and what are you supposed to say to that???? Then he went off on how it was my insurance that caused the delay. When prior to this moment, they all had me believing that they were booked out. So right before surgery this guy tells me all this waiting is bc i have United insurance and this is how long it takes them to get everything pre approved with them. Unreal..... Looking back, I can say with certainty this is the ttype of people that run this place. And take a look at the photo if you want to see the type of work this Dr. Han does. I hope someone reads this and it changes their mind about trusting this place. Please do not trust, is all I can say.
