The check in experience was bad! No one called for the surgical or anesthesia fee in advance. The check in person was basically clueless about the anesthesia fee and said if we did not pay it we would have to cancel. On the other hand the professional staff were excellent! Need to work with those front desk people. Clearly they don’t like their jobs which is sad because they are your first impression of the facility.
I would not recommend this surgical center to anyone, especially veterans or patients dealing with anxiety or medical PTSD. The bedside manner here was shockingly poor. No one should feel belittled while in such a vulnerable state. Medical care should come with professionalism and empathy. Unfortunately, this center failed badly on both.
I had a knee replacement and prior to the surgery, I had an anesthesiologist give me a nerve block. He must’ve missed the nerve because there was no effect. This is an outpatient center, and when I got through surgery, the pain was so bad I could not get out of bed and the staff was trying to force me. They filled me with more pain pills and then in about an hour I gave it a try and got on my walker and did some steps. They then released me. What a horrible experience.
Amazing experience given the circumstances. The level of care + compassion I experienced here is unmatched. The medical staff genuinely cares about the comfortability of their patients + it shows. They really helped put me at ease during an already nerve wracking experience. Thank you a million times!
Wow. I just had my surgery earlier today. Everyone is so, so nice there. The bedside manners are a 10/10 plus and I felt like I really got to know everyone who was going to be part of my surgery. They made sure I had a comfortable experience, and that in itself is invaluable. I'm feeling great after surgery and a good nap. Thank you, thank you!!!
