They charged me on the day for surgery $1,000 but when they filed the insurance claim , they didn’t mentioned that I already paid this amount which is my deductible and caused a lot of confusion with my insurance. I talked to Billing department and they said the would refund me by check but didn’t apologize for their mistake . This is kind of weird , normally when the hospital or any outpatient facility charged you, it should show up in insurance claim that the patient paid this amount as the deductible and the rest is requesting the insurance to pay. Why this company made the patient paid and told the insurance I didn’t pay and if I didn’t call them , I am wandering if I will get refund. Any one had experience something like this or the billing department made a mistake but not accepting it. Anyway this billing department said they would send me the check to refund. I hope they will as they said. If not I am willing to go to the court to get my money back. I have the receipt and the insurance claim showed that this company file the claim to get full payment and said patient paid $0 which is not true. Check your medical bill carefully if you used this facility for your surgery. I might need to do other knee surgery but I need to think if want to use this out patient facility . The doctor ( Doctor Daniel Chan and the team )and nurses there are great and very helpful but not sure about the billing or operation process from this facility.
Pre-op was extremely friendly. Concerned about my wellbeing throughout. OR staff appeared friendly for the short amount of time I was conscious. Post-op (Krystal) ROCKSTAR! Made sure I was as comfortable considering the circumstances. Awesome personality and extremely down to earth
My experience with Memorial Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Center was extremely serious and life-altering. I went there after an MRI and was ultimately misdiagnosed. Despite imaging findings that raised serious concerns, the surgeon I saw did not identify the actual pathology that later turned out to be the true source of my problem and the reason I ultimately required surgery elsewhere. Because of that failure, I continued in significant pain, experienced severe atrophy due to the delay in care, and suffered major harm to my physical condition and livelihood before finally getting the correct diagnosis and surgery. What made the experience even more frustrating was that, after ultimately getting surgery elsewhere, I made multiple efforts to have the surgeons and department re-review my MRI and add an addendum or notes to my initial visit so the misdiagnosis could be corrected. I also requested to pursue my own amendment to the record, but the manager at the office never followed through on that either. Instead of getting meaningful help, I was met with delays, lack of clarity, and no real resolution, despite having already gone elsewhere and paid out of pocket to receive proper care. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. My concerns are not only about the misdiagnosis itself, but also about the lack of accountability and poor communication that followed.
This facility is wonderful. The place is spacious and has state of the art equipment. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes to be checked in and taken back to be prepped for my procedure. The first nurse that worked with me, Carly, was professional, friendly and made me feel at ease. Eveey staff member including other nurses, the anesthesiologist, and my doctor. Dr. Wachsman, all treated me exceptionally. If you need a place to have a procedure, I highly recommend Cypress Creek Outpatient Surgical Center!
I had shoulder surgery 7/29 with Dr Paul Meli at this great surgical center. From the young man who checked me in to the nurses and staff, they were awesome. Special thanks to Dr. Meli for his amazing job on my shoulder, Breen, Kathy & Tracey who had to deal with my buddies jokes when he picked me up. They were very professional and caring, can't thank them enough. Very clean and well run facility!
