I cannot say enough wonderful things about Coal Creek Plastic Surgery. After 8.5 years, I finally went through breast reconstruction, and the care I received here was beyond exceptional. From the friendly faces at the front desk to the care and comfort from the nurses and team during surgery days, I felt completely at ease every step of the way. Dr. Herrmann’s skill and compassion, along with Wendy’s kindness and support, made the entire process so smooth and reassuring. For the first time in years, I feel confident and truly amazing—and with my wedding just a couple weeks away, I feel so beautiful. I’m beyond grateful to have found such an incredible team, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering reconstruction or cosmetic surgery.

My family and I had a variety of relatively small procedures on the face done by Dr. Herrman, including septoplasty, mole, and cyst removal. We could be happier; we can't even find the places where he cut and sewed, no scars.

I had a breast reduction done in April 2025, and am now 4 months post op. I feel that Dr. Herrman did a fantastic job. I had a very large reduction done, from a K cup to what now seems to be a C/D cup. It is apparent to me that he is a perfectionist in his work, and made sure that everything is balanced and aesthetically pleasing. He has a great bedside manner, is humourous and kind. He listened to me, made me feel comfortable, and was clear about what to expect. His office staff were all great to work with, responsive when I had concerns, and attentive. My surgery was done at Avista hospital because I needed extra monitoring because I have a heart condition. Everything went smoothly at the hospital, the surgery went perfectly, and I felt well informed on how to care for my recovery. When I got an opening in my incision, his PA, Wendy, was very attentive to me and helped me with the healing process. I felt confident that I was doing everything correctly and have healed beautifully. I had no other complications, my scars are healing very well and look really good, and I truly feel I chose one of the best surgeons for this procedure. My insurance wouldn't pay (an exclusion in my dumb policy), so I did end up paying out of pocket. I was a bit surprised that his price he quoted me was 50% higher than when I had consulted with him 2 years ago. That was a bit of a shock, but I decided I would still find a way to do it, and I am so glad I did. I was holding off until I didn't have to lift my children, as the procedure does have an intensive recovery period. Having a breast reduction has been absolutely life changing, and everything about it is positive for me. Dr. Herrman gave me my life back! I haven't been this small ever in my entire adult life, and my confidence and happiness has increased exponentially. I feel like he uncovered the real me who was underneath all that miserable breast tissue, and now I am excited to go do all the things I want to do! My neck and back feel so much better, I can move so much easier, and I can wear all the cute clothes I could never wear before!

Five stars all around! I’m so glad I chose this location for my breast reduction surgery. Dr. Herrmann was highly professional and made me feel secure and comfortable every step of the way. He did an outstanding job on my surgery, and just three months later, I’m thrilled with the healing process and results. He and his staff were also incredibly responsive to all of my emailed questions during recovery. Every member of his team was welcoming, accommodating, and kind throughout the entire process. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this team, especially if you’re considering a breast reduction.

I went in for a consultation for a breast reduction and did not feel comfortable with Dr. Herrmanns assessment. Unlike my other consultations with other doctors for this surgery. He used terminology like “Floppy” and “Crooked” to describe my breasts. Versus other doctors focused on the quality of life increase I could have with this surgery. So, I decided to choose another surgeon. I then received a bill for almost 300 dollars because my appointment went, get this, FIFTEEN MINUTES OVER. And now my insurance won’t cover that 15 mins. Meanwhile, the doctor didn’t even warn me we were coming to the end of our consult, and just let me go fifteen minutes over knowing they charge for it and knowing they were also late to start my appointment. I cannot recommend this place due to the shady practices and downright sexist way this doctor preys upon women’s insecurities. Do yourself a favor and don’t even bother getting a consult.
