This Center is the most unprofessional place I have experienced. My husband has been going there for eight years or more. They used to be better back then, but in the last two years, they schedule patients for procedures and call you a day before to tell you, that they have to change your appointment time. Once they reschedule you because of a scheduling conflict, you arrive and wait there at least four hours for them to actually perform the procedure. They usually say it’s because another doctor called out sick, and Fr. Lott has to see their other doctor’s patients and his own patients. It happened to me last year. My husband had appointment today, and he’s been there for two and a half hours. Don’t recommend this place.

Had an endoscopy done around a few months ago (July 2024) by Dr. Lott and his team. The procedure was fine except that they must've just shoved the GI scope (the tube going in from your mouth) roughly down my throat since, after a few hours when I regained full consciousness, I noticed several bruises in my mouth and lips. You're supposed to experience bloating and overall discomfort in your stomach and throat but this lasted several days for me (about 2 weeks). While I can't be certain, I believe that Dr. Lott and team didn't care about my body at all and just abruptly hurried the whole thing. When I call the staff to ask about my symptoms post-procedure, they were very dismissive or rude. The whole experience was negative so I just let the whole thing go since I did not want to remember anything. Before the procedure, I was told that I was not getting anesthesia but a substance to relax/numb me, so I was not going to lose consciousness. However, I don't remember the procedure or what happened after. I felt I was unconscious the whole time. In that state, they gave me discharge instructions orally (not written) and a single page with a few words (it was a template with a few blanks that Dr. Lott filled out) that didn't make sense to me. When I called the office to clarify the discharge notes, the staff was very rude and impatient with me. I also had issues with them sending the full results to my PCP. They listed the wrong office/person so I had to call a few times for them to send the results to the right doctor. The staff members were very rude and raising their voice that they did not do anything wrong. This minor issue could've been solved in one call but took several. Overall, I do not recommend this endoscopy center or Dr. Lott. He is another story but to summarize, he's extremely unprofessional and does not care about your concerns. You won't die from an endoscopy but the experience shouldn't be so negative and with discomfort lasting for so long. Go have it done somewhere else.

The staff are fine, but avoid Dr. Lott, he is one lousy doctor. Please read more about him at Coast gastroenterology reviews.
