Had hip surgery here yesterday. Everyone was amazing. The nurse that I had made me feel calm and safe before surgery, and after surgery made sure I was in no discomfort as I woke up.
Beautiful craftsman style medical facility inside and outside. Yes, there was a wait, but quality of service outweighs the wait. Staff very friendly. Dr Kalarn is the best and nursing staff were all well prepared.
I took a family member here for eye surgery. She checked in at 2pm (scheduled check in time was 2:10). We waited 1hr and 55 minutes before she was called back. After waiting for an hour and a half, she went to the desk to find out what the problem was. The reception staff had all already left for the day. Center for Health has COMPLETE DISREGARD for their customers time! This is absolutely unacceptable! I will not use OSF or Center for Health facilities myself and this just solidifies my decision. I have a question for you. How much is our time worth? I have a friend that is a plumber. He charges $85 per hour. I have a cousin who is an attorney. He charges $165 per hour. Apparently your attitude is our time is worth NOTHING! PATHETIC!!!
I just had a gynecological procedure there yesterday, and it was the BEST experience I’ve ever had in healthcare of any type. Everyone from the front desk all the way to the nurses in recovery, and everybody in between were the nicest people I’ve ever encountered in my life. I’m typically bad with IV’s (hard stick and I panic)… that wonderful nurse got me in one and I didn’t even bruise. I had the easiest time waking up from anesthesia. Overall such a wonderful experience and the people were AMAZING! Thank you!!
Note sure why the low ratings but I had a very comfortable experience here. A very pleasant and comfortable experience, the staff did everything to make me feel calm and confident about my surgery. This was my first surgery and I am glad I chose them.
