The most critical role in any business is the front line staff. I hope Dr. McQueen reads this as the front line staff is rude, unkind and has zero empathy for patients. It takes 2-3 months to get in to see him and they tell you too bad if you are in pain we have a "process where we take 2 weeks to even look at referrals. I would reevaluate how you run your business. There are options even in Bellinham or to drive or fly elsewhere for care. Avoid this place unless you want to be treated like a number and uncared for.

It doesn’t matter how good a doctor is if their staff has no sympathy. It took me two months to get an 10 minute appointment and was told it would be two more months before I would be able to get another appointment after being 10 minutes late.

They have a patient portal where one can supposedly email them. The front desk person said they don't bother to check emails and the only way to communicate is to make an appointment. If they don't answer emails then why bother with the patient portal? It has been 6 months since i had an si joint fusion on both sides and I still am feeling pain in my lower back. When I get a second opinion it won't be with them.

I had an excellent experience at Fourth Corner. Dr. Landau performed my surgery, he was very informative throughout the whole process, the front office staff were responsive, helpful and friendly, and my pain from my bulging disc is completely resolved now. I am so thankful for Dr. Landau, his skills have improved my life dramatically!

AFTER SEEING SOME OF THESE REVIEWS, it makes me more confident to express my absolute dissatisfaction with this office. I was referred by my PCP to see Dr. Gorrapati, who was overall pleasant. Some of the other staff however were rude, unhelpful and making me out to the be the “bad guy” because I was continually following up on referrals and tests that I had no idea about. My appointment was changed twice in the middle of my work day ( I work in primary care for another establishment) and trying to get time away is hard enough as it is. After waiting 2 months to be seen. Additionally, the front desk ( Grace specifically) were rude and very unhelpful. And after I checked out at the front, I was never given orders. After following up, I was told curtly, “you should already have been given this “ Do you think I’m calling for fun?? Medical Assistant, Leslie, was less than helpful and always made me feel “less than” when I finally reached her to follow up on things that should have been done. No follow up , no idea why I was ever calling and persistently told me my surgery was “never going to be approved in WA state and didn’t know why the doctor would even bother ordering this “. Kind of disheartening when you are walking around at a 8/10 pain on a daily basis. HUGE LACK OF EMPATHY After my final meeting with them after my surgery denial ( mind you, no appeal, no discussions with the insurance ) Just yet another referral to Virginia Mason . I following up on my referral to them because yet again even after insurance approval , it had not been sent to them. After finally getting the referral , only to call Virginia Mason to find out NONE of my MRI’s were sent along with it. I think it’s pretty black and white that you would send this information to the neurosurgeon. This office needs a re- evaluation from their management team. Maybe time for a staff revamping? My PCP , also , never received ANY of my consultation notes, so she was limited on how she could help me. Never in a million years would I treat a patient as poorly as the staff at Fourth Corner. This motivates me to work even harder than I already do while caring for others. If you make the choice to work in healthcare , then quite frankly you need to be kinder and more compassionate. My advise , go farther south if you value your care and health .
