40 providers on record
I should have looked at the reviews before coming here, but I didn't, and I regret this decision. My appointment was a typical first appointment at a practice. The front desk had a rude lady with no patience who took down my information. Then I went into the room, got my vitals done, and sat down waiting for the provider. Once she came in, we sat and talked for about 15 minutes about my history, health goals, and the one medication I have a prescription for. She ordered some blood tests (which I still haven't gotten done), and I was sent on my way. I was surprised when I got a bill in the mail that said they did not bill as preventative care. I was confused. So, I attempted to contact them, and they finally answered after 3 weeks of attempts. I spoke directly to the doctor about why she innaccurately billed my insurance. She was convinced that it was NOT a preventative care appointment. Then, Dr. Dhawan said, "If any treatment is provided for the patient, the appointment is not considered preventative care." So I just asked her, "What treatment did you provide me?" And she hung up on me. So, I am attempting to get this fixed with billing, but this is ultimately insurance fraud. They billed for a service that was not provided, and I am not impressed with how they have dealt with this.
I needed to see a Neurologist and the Veterans Administration made me an appointment to see a Dr. immediately at the University of Penn. Apparently the VA also made me an appointment at Bryn Mawr Medical Associates in case they could see me sooner. Once Penn confirmed, the VA cancelled the appointment at Bryn Mawr. I have the records, and the VA confirmed they cancelled the appointment. Nevertheless, Bryn Mawr decided to send me personally a $75.00 bill/charge for not showing up to the appointment. They relayed my situation to Dr. Hart who said "The charge and balance stays." So no I, a disabled Veteran need to utilize my limited resources to pay for a Dr. visit I never made or even knew about. $75 for a no show charge is a lot for someone on a fixed income. I was not treated with dignity or care by Bryn Mawr and hope you think twice before using there services. I spent nearly my entire 20's in the Marine Corps, doing my best to keep others from harms way. Thanks for the in-kind repayment Bryn Mawr. Thanks for having a heart, especially sending me multiple bills the weeks leading up to Christmas.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. I have very concerning liver labs and was sent for more tests for likely auto immune disease. It took 2 wks after labs for doc to leave me a msg saying she couldn't leave them on my vm. I gave consent the next day. Its been 5 weeks and counting since then and still nothing. No call, my results aren't in the portal. I leave messages 1-2x per wk with 0 returned calls. This should be illegal. I am never going back to Dr Springer.
I am a patient of Dr. Belinda Birnbaum in Rheumatology. The office staff has been very pleasant to work work. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease and find her to be very thorough and caring. As I need a team of doctors she has been helpful with steering me to the right ones. If I have issues and have called the office, my call will be returned. Very little wait time in the office. I think she is the best!
