Brooklyn Surgery Ctr

I'm not sure why this center has such a low review. I've been here four times for various procedures (egg retrievals and hysteroscopy) and although each have varied in terms of the medical teams, I've overall had a nice experience. I'm providing a review of the most recent experience I had because the service was outstanding. I went in for a hysteroscopy and had Dr. Ross, Dr. Delaney, Nurses Melissa and Alex, and James. They all work so seamlessly together to provide the best care. Dr. Ross (conducted the hysteroscopy) cares deeply about her patients and is passionate about finding solutions to whatever problems that emerge, Dr. Delaney (anesthesiologist) has a great sense of humor but most importantly, he's warm, kind, and reassuring. I appreciated that he communicated each step of the process. Nurse Melissa is a great pre and post-op nurse (though I wish she let me nap for a little longer after my procedure when I woke up haha). Nurse Alex is a powerhouse - efficient, professional, and focused on providing the best OR experience for patients. James helped ensure the OR bed was set-up correctly and had a warm demeanor and positive attitude before my procedure. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had at BSC and I hope if I have to return for any future procedures that I get this dream team again. This is how healthcare should be provided to all patients - warmth, humor, efficiency, professionalism, and kindness. Thanks!

My experience would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for the extremely rude front desk representative, Jazmin. She showed no compassion or empathy and actually brought me to tears during check-in. However, the doctors and nurses are absolutely amazing—truly 10/10. Joseph DiGregorie will brighten your day the moment you meet him. He’s incredibly gentle, patient, and caring. Dr. Daniel Nekola has the best bedside manner; he takes the time to sit with you and explain everything step by step. The entire nursing staff is wonderful—you feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout your experience.

Dr. Silver did a great job repairing my rotator cuff on 6/5/2023 he's a good doctor honest & has the patients best interest at heart not $$$. The security guard at the front desk was rude but that was the only downside of my entire experience. The receptionist was kind. Dr Ly anesthesiologist was amazing nurses Gene & Christina were patient & kind. The person who made my experience unique was Giuseppe he made me feel so comfortable like he was my friend kept my family well informed and was a doll. Thank you to all of you. Kindness makes a difference.

Are you ready for the 411? Here you go...Had to visit the Brooklyn Surgery Center for an outpatient surgery to fix my trigger finger situation. My orthopedic doctor, Dr. Edelstein is the best and the surgical experience was definitely positive. I LOVED Giuseppe! He was the nurse on the surgical floor and he was amazing. He has great bedside manner and is a pro at making patients comfortable. I listened to him as he went from bay to bay, and from the youngest patient to the oldest he catered to their needs in making them have a positive experience. He is also a good teacher and he worked with a new nurse on the floor to get them acclimated to their tasks. He definitely made my experience so much more tolerable. I would be amiss to not talk about the other staff from the front desk and the surgical room were all a pleasure to be with and added to the positive experience.
