Dr Kopp has been caring for my mother's eyes for decades. He is helpful, patient, and kind. Before leaving the exam room, he consistently checks with each person and provides opportunity for concise questions, optimizing the opportunity for clarification of the treatment plan. The staff and doctors work well together and collectively have provided 5/5 care for her. They have been using a portal for many years which assists with recall and review over the patient's plan of care. Yesterday was the first time the intake provider, Helen, seemed hurried and less interest in being thorough than past staff members, but maybe they were short staffed or new to her position. Irregardless, this group is excellent.
I'm a veteran who had to go to this location for an appointment. It's was a 4 hour drive. I'm six miles away and I get a call saying the doctor is not feeling well and is going home sick. I get that. OK fine, I still go in the office to see about reschedule. It would be in 2 days with a different doctor. That's fine. Still along way to go again.. 2nd appointment went great. It's now closing in on three months to get one document. So I can submit it for travel reimbursement. I have called numerous times, I have even spoken with management, who assured me that id get it ths following day.Still nothing.
I went to their facility yesterday for my annual checkup--they checked my intraocular pressure, checked the health of my retinas and took pictures of the same, and even checked the growth of the cataracts in both eyes (neither required surgical correction at this time). I encountered both a very professional as well as engaging people during my visit. I would recommend them highly.
Scheduling has to do a better job. I had a 3:00 appt--i finally saw Dr Atadaria at 5:00. They claim it is because of the prep work??--The two techs I saw took only 15 minutes each. BDP--make your appointments on the Doctor's schedule==the accompanying tests do not take two hours
Very disappointed. Had appointment for refraction so I could get new glasses. The front end individuals insisted I had to have a complete eye exam including x-rays, dilation, etc. DR. BRUSSELS was wonderful. Long story but he did good. This was Friday 10/07. I have an appointment Monday 10/10 with Dr. Atodoria the glaucoma specialist. Wonder if they will require another total exam...
