We LOVE Dr. Kay! My husband has been his patient for about 5 years. Dr. Kay removed bladder cancer, and about 2 years later removed his cancerous prostate. Suffice to say, my husband had a rough couple of years. 🤕🤕🙂 Dr. Kay has always been straightforward about what to expect from the surgeries and the follow up treatment. Dr. Kay has never made us feel rushed, and has always genuinely cared about my husband and me. His staff is wonderful! Any time we've called for any reason we have always received a call back within a couple of hours at most. We moved to Alabama a couple of years ago, and the drive to Augusta is at least a 4 1/2 hour drive, but we are happy to make the drive to see Dr. Kay! I trust him that much. If you want the absolute best urologist and surgeon, give Dr. Kay a call. We LOVE him!
Dr Simpson was wonderful; he explained everything clearly, and he was very kind and patient. The nurses were remarkable as well. I found myself to be uncharacteristically nervous and they all went out of their way to show compassion and offer assurance during my entire visit. They were very professional and gave me great care.
The personnel were very nice and helpful. Dr Goodwin.... A smile once in a while would be nice. I wish he would have told me something. He just told the nurse to make me an appointment. Dr. Simpson and his staff was excellent. They were friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend them if needed.
We have had nothing but a horrible experience. The staff has been so rude on various occasions on the phone when asking simple questions and that is when they actually answer the phone. We tried for days to get in contact with someone and no one would answer the phone or call us back. They just seemed so annoyed all the time. Not given clear instructions.
