Best of the best Dr Newcomer and his assistants are very thorough and professional and they want the best for you. By his care and knowledge found an issue within my eye which could have been a bad story if he hadn’t. So very thankful and I highly recommended Dr Newcomer to all. My eye exam was great also!!

A very pleasant experience I was taken on time, and everyone treated me with respect and it made the appointment most enjoyable. Having Dr royalty as my new doctor after Dr kiymes retired it was a pleasant surprised i and I had a very good visit with him answering questions and explaining things carefully. Thank you. Checking out and checking in I have been made and easy time for your patience thank you Joan lightener.

I had an appointment with Dr. Kyle Royalty, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is truly wonderful-extremely thorough, patient, and genuinely carrying. He took the time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood my eye health and test results without ever making me feel rushed. That level of an attentiveness is rare and deeply appreciated. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. The entire experience at Athens Eye Doctors and Surgeons was professional and reassuring, but Dr. Royalty really stood out. I left feeling confident, informed, and grateful to have found such an excellent eye doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Kyle Royalty in this practice anyone looking for outstanding, compassionate eye care.

From the easy check-in, to the huge comfortable waiting area, to the staff members, I always have a pleasant visit experience at Athens Eye Doctors. My appointment today was with Dr. Patterson to discuss my upcoming cataract surgeries. It turns out that I will need three separate surgeries to get the outcome I desire. I appreciated his cordial yet professional demeanor. He answered all of my questions and set up my surgery schedules explaining what would be happening during each surgery.

Only writing this review to give others a heads up. The doctors my son has seen at this office have been wonderful and I feel like they are very thorough. The office is very large and very impersonal. Don't expect to feel like you are a person more like a number on a chart moving you through. Expect to wait a long time even with an appointment. The tech dilated my son's eyes and didn't even tell us that she was doing it. No sun glasses for him to wear or even what to expect. We came for a yearly exam, he wears contacts but was not even given a script or exam for contacts, even though they were aware he wore them. Now months later when I needed to fill his contacts I call the office. I wasn't given the script in office so I called to see if they could mail it. Come to find out they would have to see him again to get a contact exam, not sure what that yearly appointment was for?!?! When I asked how much the appointment would be I was told $75-250. Thats a pretty big ballpark can you not narrow it down smaller she said no. You have already seen him more than once why can't you tell me what I will have to pay for a contract exam. I think if you go knowing what to expect you may actually like this place. The doctors seem great and like I said very thorough. I wish I would have known what to expect going in because I might have stayed.
