We absolutely love Dr. Qadri and the staff at Athens Digestive Healthcare! The attention to detail and their patience to explain procedures is better than anywhere we have ever been. The whole staff is professional but know when to lighten the mood with funny moments!

Today I had endoscopy procedure with Dr Qadri, he was very professional I was really impressed by his kindness. The waiting time could be improved, and his front desk receptionist more nicely, but his staff(nurses, assistants, PA) are all amazing. The place is very clean and welcoming, I felt well taken care of. I will have colonoscopy next week, hopefully I wave also a good experience.

Friendly folks and a necessary place to go, but they need to work on their customer service a little. One is encouraged to write to them at their e-mail address, but that address seems to not be regularly monitored. It took them almost a week to reply to me the first time, and in subsequent e-mails after making contact, I never got a reply. Phone calls and voice mails frequently get missed. I attempted to contact them ahead of my procedure only to get the "Answering Service," which, forgive me folks in the Answering Service industry, but your services are the most useless in our already bloated and overly complex medical system. If I wanted to leave a message for the doctor's office, I can do so on their machinery, can't I? Why involve a third party not even directly affiliated with the doctor's office? Finally 'after hours,' someone got back to me, but this was after days of calling and e-mailing. Today I went in for my procedure as scheduled, arriving even earlier than they told me to. What they didn't tell me was that they were short staffed today. That's cool, that's fine, it's happens! Just say, "We'll have you wait here. Normally it'd be about X minutes, but we're short staffed today, so it may be a while longer." Instead they left me in a dark room for 45 minutes until I literally was calling out for assistance to make sure they hadn't forgotten about me. So glad I got up early and made sure to arrive there on time! Heaven forbid I'm late or cancel an appointment at the last minute, but it's okay for providers to make me to wait in a dark room with an empty IV up my arm and no information as to what's going to happen next, and when. Phew. The procedure itself was literally painless, but I wish their organizational skills were better. Oh, did I mention that my original referral from my doctor got lost and I had to get re-referred for them to even get the process started? And these are two practices separated by a quarter mile in the same general medical complex, not offices miles and miles apart from each other.
