Just got done with ankle surgery and was very pleased with my care. The nurse Emily had a great bed side manner and kept me at ease as well as the other nurse whose name I didn’t not get but did my IV. Surgery is never fun and where to go really makes a difference, this place took great care of me!!!

I have had the worst experience with this place that you couldn't imagine I have a loved one in their parking lot trying to ease a child's stomach pain and trying to hurry up considering it is close to closing time for the facility and then the security of the building comes out and clearly sees us in our vehicle and still went and closed the gate which is the only way out of the parking lot clearly being able to see vehicle is on and people are inside and didn't even mention anything at all that he was going to close the gate and just went and closed it locking my self and my family in the parking lot rendering is incapable of being able to leave leaving us stuck with three babies and no way to get out and no way to get a hold of someone who is able to open the gate to allow us to get out so just be careful with this place they will keep you locked up like a prisoner..

I like my doctor very much and wish he operated elsewhere. They called me a couple days before surgery and told me I needed to pay almost $2500 on the morning of surgery since I hadn't met my insurance deductible yet. Ok. I'd need to eventually, so I paid every penny they asked for on the day of surgery. The waiting room is kind of dingy. They took me to a locker room to change for surgery (looked like the same room the staff used) and handed me two used Jewel bags to place my belongings in (not particularly professional). The OR staff and anesthesia provider were nice. Surgery went well. Then I started getting bills. It turns out my surgeon turned in the claim to my insurance before the surgery center, so he is owed the money from my deductible. The surgery center took my money, got paid by my insurance too (i.e. got twice the money they were owed), then sent me an additional bill for $250 (the only money they were supposed to get from me in the first place)! I called the surgery center when I got the bill, explained that they'd been paid by my insurance, and requested a refund of my overpayment. They claimed they hadn't been paid by my insurance (I had paperwork that I faxed to them that stated otherwise). They said they'd look into it then never called me back. A month later, I called again and asked to speak with the manager. They wouldn't let me and instead referred me back to the woman who'd ignored my issue the month prior. She couldn't help me directly, she had to talk to her manager (duh, that's why I wanted to talk to the manager myself). A day later, she called me back to say they wouldn't reimburse my credit card the amount I paid because it had been longer than 30 days and it would screw up their accounting so my only option was a check, which I explained would screw up my accounting. They didn't care and had a take it or leave it approach. If you love your doctor and have to go here, okay, but go elsewhere if you have the choice. There are nicer places with much better service.
